Kahoots Dog Training Center

Kahoots Pet Store is proud to announce the opening of their dog training center in Escondido, CA.  The Kahoots Dog Training Center, in association with Beckman’s Dog Training, features a state-of-the-art 1,500 sq.ft. training facility with top-notch professional dog trainers.

The Kahoots Dog Training Center is conveniently located inside Kahoots Pet Store in Escondido, giving customers and their pets access to hundreds of pet foods, pet products and training tools.

Start Right Puppy Program (10 – 22 weeks) - $150
Puppy socialization is the single most integral step in raising a happy and mentally sound puppy. Lack of proper socialization during a puppy’s critical periods of development (8-16 weeks) can be very detrimental. In this class, your puppy will have the opportunity to interact with other humans and dogs to ensure that they will be properly socialized at this critical age in their developmental period. Playtime and socialization will be an integral part of start right puppy program.

• ONLY offered at the Escondido Kahoots training center.
• This is an on-going series of 6 one hour sessions that can be taken within 10 weeks of starting.

Level 1: Beginner Class (6 months and up) - $150
In beginner class, your dog will be introduced to some basic obedience such as: sit, down, stay, recalls, and loose leash walking. Problem behaviors (barking, jumping, potty training) will also be discussed. Playtime and socialization will be an integral part of beginner class.
• Agility training on last day of class.
• Offered at various Kahoots locations.
• Consists of 6 one hour classes, once a week.

Level 2: Intermediate Class (6 months and up) - $150
In intermediate class, many of the basic obedience will be strengthened to improve duration of the behaviors and also increase the reliability of the behaviors. In addition, heeling...will be taught.

• Agility training on last day of class.
• Offered at various Kahoots locations.
• Consists of 6 one hour classes, once a week.

Level 3: Advanced Class (1 year and up) - $150
Dogs do not live through their entire life without distractions. In advanced class, we will teach your dog to perform behaviors in the presence of distractions, a “leave it”, and maintaining attention on you.

• Agility training on last day of class.
• Offered at various Kahoots locations.
• Consists of 6 one hour classes, once a week.

Feisty Fido (Any age) - $150
Feisty Fido is a class designed for dogs that are more reactive toward other humans or dogs.

• ONLY offered at the Escondido Kahoots training center.
• Consists of 6 one hour classes, once a week.

As a bonus, bring your dog to the Escondido Kahoots training center for free playtime with other dogs between 11am to noon every Saturday when you sign up for any of the training classes.

Checklist for classes:
• Must have received 8 or 9 weeks vaccinations (DHPP and Bordetella) and provide proof of up to date vaccinations for their age.
• Dog must have collar/harness with a leash. No choke chains or retractable leashes.
• Bring treats & treat bag (Suggestion: Natural Balance sausage roll and dehydrated liver treats)
• (Optional) Bring a bed and clicker.
